A Brief Rant About Cereal Packaging

Has anyone else noticed that since we were kids, the quality of plastic bag lining breakfast cereal boxes has diminished in quality? I bought a box of Kellogg's Raisin Bran yesterday (Two Scoops!) at the store, and opened it last night during a late night munchies session, only to shred the plastic bag, leaving my flakes vulnerable to moisture and air! I've rolled up the bag, of course (I'm not stupid!), but I remember these bags being much more cooperative twenty years ago when I ate cereal every morning.

Maybe I've just lost the touch. Maybe I've just lost touch, period.
